Special Sequencing Charts
The information on this webpage should be consulted if a student fails
to complete a sequence of courses required by a program.
Most two-course sequences pose no problem in that the two courses on
quarters are converted to two courses on semesters. Problems in conversion do arise,
however, with quarter system sequences of three (and four) courses, which are usually
converted to two (and three) courses on the semester system. In the diagrams below, the
arrows indicate the distribution of course content from quarter system courses to semester
system courses.
If sequence problems arise for courses others than those shown, please consult with the department offering the courses.
