What is my ISIS user ID and Password
and who do
I contact if I forgot my Password?

YOU HAVE NEVER LOGGED INTO ISIS BEFORE (or never visited ISIS from
CougarNet) your password should be your birth date in the format DDMMYY.
For instance, if your birthday is October 23, 1986, your initial
password is set to 231086 when your account was created. If your
birth date in this format does not work and you have never logged into
ISIS and set a security question, this procedure will not work for you.
You will need to contact the Help Desk in the CCT building (706)

http://www.colstate.edu/csuid/faq.htm
IF YOU HAVE
LOGGED INTO ISIS BEFORE (or have visited ISIS through CougarNet) and
have forgotten your password, this procedure will allow you to change
your CougarNet/ISIS password provided you can answer your security
question correctly. Enter your CSU ID number in the box and click the
submit button to display your security question. If you provide the
correct answer to the question, you will be allowed into ISIS but will
be required to change your password.

How is my academic standing determined?
The progress of all students is evaluated at the end of each semester. Determination of academic standing is based on
a student’s overall and semester grade point
averages and the number of course attempts in required learning support subject areas. GPA hours and grade
points earned at other institutions are used in computing grade point
averages as they
affect academic standing. |

I feel a grade I received is unfair. Can I appeal?
A
student may appeal a grade received as well as certain degree
requirements. A student
who wishes to exercise this right should follow the appropriate procedure as follows:
1. To appeal a grade the student feels is unfair or inaccurate, follow the academic grievance process
listed under the Student Rights and
Responsibilities section of the Student Handbook at
http://sa.colstate.edu/Handbook/handbook2003.pdf
2. To appeal a requirement in Areas A-F of the core curriculum or a general university requirement, the student
should meet with his advisor to discuss the nature
of the appeal. If there is merit to the appeal, the advisor will
assist the student in completing an Exception Petition form to be submitted to
the university’s Academic Standards Committee for review. If approved by the Committee, the
petition will be forwarded to the Vice President for Academic Affairs for a final decision.
