CSU Home > Registrar > National Student Clearinghouse National Student Clearinghouse The National Student Clearinghouse is a non-profit organization designed to streamline the student record verification process. The Clearinghouse maintains a comprehensive electronic registry of student records that provide organizations and individuals with timely and accurate verification of student enrollment, degree, and loan data. Today, over 2,700 colleges (representing 91% of the nation's enrollment) participate in the Clearinghouse. Student loan providers, employers, student health insurance providers, the federal government, and others access the Clearinghouse's registry to conduct electronic student record verifications. As a student, you can view your enrollment history and enrollment verifications sent to student service providers, such as health insurance, or you may print enrollment certificates to provide to these organizations, all at no charge. You can also view deferments sent to your loan provider, as well as link to real-time information on your student loan. Options to view these items are present once you click on Enrollment Verification under Services in CougarNet. Click on obtain report twice and you should be forwarded to the Self Service Site.
